Solitude

Factors such as isolation and loneliness have predicted Australia’s suicide rates to increase by 40% within the next decade if not brought to light [identified by a study completed by KPMG on the behalf of Suicide Australia]. This series, "Solitude" shines a light on an otherwise awkward and uncomfortable reality that we feel the compulsive need to suppress and silent our emotions to illuminate the illusion that we are "fine" and surviving when that may not be the case. the reality is that we are not always there for one another and people are taking their own lives due to feelings of loneliness and feeling although there's no option to ask for help . Some emotions and feelings cannot be secluded within ones’ self and solitude pays homage to the despair and anguish within our minds when we finally give up the facade and lets the world inside our mental solitude.
